Ron first testified in 1986 in a commercial matter relating to about $50,000 of alleged lost profits of a print shop idled due to a fire in adjacent premises. The scope of damages in the matters that he has been involved with has increased substantially over the years. Ron is very proud that the vast majority of matters in which he is engaged are able, oftentimes with his input and assistance, to effect resolution through mediation or negotiation long before he is asked to testify. Over the last 22 years, he has testified an average of only 2 – 3 times per year on matters primarily in the western United States. Ron graduated from the University of Washington in 1979.

Steve has been providing expert assistance to clients in construction matters, commercial damages, and environmental disputes for 22 years. He has led significant engagements in the analysis of lost profit and breach of contract damages, claims on international construction projects and environmental cost recovery and property value impairment disputes. He is a graduate of the University of Washington and licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Washington. Steve has testified as an expert on construction, environmental, and commercial damages matters more than 60 times, including in international arbitration in London, UK.

Bob has been providing financial and expert services for more than 20 years. He has been involved in projects of national, regional, and local visibility. He has conducted numerous investigations of alleged financial and accounting irregularities, fraud, and criminality, as well as been involved in hundreds of economic damages claims. Prior to practicing with Ron and Steve, he was a Controller of a local banking institution and a real estate development and management firm. He graduated with honors from Seattle University in 1983. Bob has testified in state and federal courts and in private arbitration matters on the topics of lost profits and other types of commercial damages, corporate alter-ego, and accounting issues.

Kristi has been providing expert assistance to clients in construction matters, commercial damages, and environmental disputes for nineteen years. During that time, she had significant roles in a wide variety of engagements. Representative examples include the analysis of: lost profit and breach of contract damages, claims on construction projects, claims stemming from alleged breach of fiduciary duty; and environmental cost recovery claims. Kristi has worked extensively in London and has given testimony concerning her analyses of damages. She is a graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in business administration and an emphasis in finance. |

Jeff has been working in financial damages analysis since 1999, with most of his experience related to the audit and analysis of construction costs and claims. He has analyzed a wide variety of construction claims, including claims for lost labor productivity, delay and disruption and extended site and home office overhead. Much of his work has involved advising clients as they progress through settlement negotiations. Jeff has provided expert testimony related to his construction audit work and analysis of construction claims in both Washington and Idaho, and he has participated in negotiations and mediations on behalf of clients on a number of occasions. Jeff graduated from the University of Washington in 1999 with a degree in business administration, with a concentration in finance. He is also a Certified Management Accountant. |

Brett has been working in the field of business litigation consulting and financial damages analysis since July 2005 (Brett spent 1 year of his career working in corporate finance at Microsoft). Brett joined MRW in June 2008, but he also worked with other MRW Advisory personnel at another consulting firm during the first 2+ years of his career. Brett has worked on a number of construction auditing projects during the last several years, including his work as the lead “day to day” supervisor for the audits of two high-dollar cost reimbursable contracts with values ranging from $95 million to $400 million. He has reviewed and analyzed costs and supporting documentation related to labor costs, equipment costs, subcontractor costs, material costs, and job site overhead costs. Brett graduated from the University of Washington Business School in June 2005 with a Finance degree. Brett has also commenced candidacy for the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification. |

Dave has experience in forensic accounting and business litigation consulting, with a significant focus in auditing construction project costs and analyzing construction claims. Dave’s construction audit experience includes the review of contracts, payment applications, job cost reports, and source documentation related to project costs. Dave graduated from the University of Washington in 2008 with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance, and he is a licensed CPA in the State of Washington. Prior to attending the UW, Dave served his country in the United States Army from 2001 through 2004. |

Mark Hannah

Mark joined MRW Advisory in November 2011. He graduated from Middlebury College in 2011 with a degree in Environmental Economics, and he subsequently completed the Business Bridge Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Upon beginning his career at MRW, Mark has also commenced his matriculation toward the Certified Management Accountant designation. |
